New Village Signs
Our village signs are being replaced with the new West Northamptonshire style sign, as seen in neighbouring parishes. This story also explains what is happening with the Millennium sign.

The work to replace all of the signs throughout the Parish is now complete. The example, shown in the image, is a new location on Banbury Lane, just beyond the Pound Lane junction when approaching from Rothersthorpe.
You may have also noticed that the Millennium sign has been removed from its plinth outside the school.
The oak post will need to be replaced. The sign will be restored – it has stood for twenty five years – so needs attention before it deteriorates further. The work will be carried out by a specialist and brought back to its original condition. It should be completed and ready to install by next summer.
Street furniture, including signs, are owned and managed by the Parish Council who are overseeing the work.
